ABOUT US
This new annual festival presents the best of alt-folk, folktronica and Americana across five stages at Exeter Phoenix and the Cavern Club over the weekend of September 17th - 19th. The festival is building on the gigs that take place over the rest of the year - Noah and the Whale, King Creosote, The Acorn, Woodpigeon etc - as well as regular acoustic showcases, numerous club and bar nights and the work of labels based in the city. Birds, Orphan & Fools
South west DJ collective, obscure vinyl junkies and record label - this Exeter-based collective are obsessive un-earthers of obscure music and movies. Regularly DJ'ing out and about, expect a feast for your ears spanning 60's and 70's esoteric, rare and down-right funky, banging beats as well as regular rare movie cinema showings. Obscure funky rare-beats, drum-heavy prog, Turk protest, bollywood-boogie, Wickerman-Folk, punk&global psych, electro-phonic jazz, moog moozuk, post-punk obscurer, Canned Kraut, freak-bubblegum, trash-B-obsolete-bizarre-beautiful soundtracks.

Boothill Records is an independent record label based primarily online and oriented around the genres of country, folk and blues, run for the love of it by good friends Jon, Nick and Tom, aiming only to be a vehicle for promoting the music they feel passionately about.
